The Weight of Sin (2 Kings 17:1-41)

Friends, although we may think our sins are isolated they never are. Little steps of disobedience can eventually lead to great pains. Certain sins may feel insignificant or off the radar, but we must remember that all sins – small and large – are acts of defiance against our holy and supreme God. Thankfully, God provided a Redeemer, One who never sinned, so that we could be made right. And thankfully, even as born-again believers when we continue to fall short, God’s grace is greater than our sin, and rather than reaping a reward of judgment, His grace gets the final word.
